Leap year

Thursday, February 28, 2008

So tomorrow's a rare day. I know. That's not newsworthy - it's certainly not a presidential debate or anything, but as I sit here on this flight to LA I realized this year is a leap year. Tomorrow's this real but not real day. So.. what if we had a day - say every four years for instance - that was a time out of time moment? If what we did during that one day - didn't actually stick. Do you get me? A day without consequences... what would you all do if you had no one to answer to for 24 hours?

Hi Kendall! Well, the best way I can answer your question is by saying that I would still have the same person to answer to that I always do - myself.

Kendall, if I were you what I would do with that hypothetical day, is get back on that plane and fly home to Zach. You don't need to fly all over the country and promote your book. Just tell them that you will only go when Zach can accompany you.

Kendall,

As someone who absolutely loves genealogy and family research, I'd gave a great time locked in my state's historical society. I know it's not even close to what the Slaters could accomplish in 24 hours, but trust me I'd make time to watch AMC as well.

Kendall,

Besides watching All My Children I have quite a collection of Zendall clips and music videos. I'd probably have a marathon with some of the highlights like New Year's Eve when you first declared you love for Zach...my very favorite episode...among many.

Well I have a good friend that has a Big Birthday tomorrow !! Can you imagine how rare that is. She only has a real day every 4 years - so count our blessings that we are all unique!! and to answer your question, I don't think we could have a day where we are unaccountable to anyone. We are always accountable to ourselves and thats that!!

Kendall,

I'd think it would be fantastic to take a run at being head writer for a day at All My Children...or better yet, I'd write a spin off dedicated to just Zendall. Something in prime time and I think it would attract a lot of viewers. You and Zach are one of the few couples that could pull it off.

Kendall, that's the way we should be living our lives
anyway. Doing the right thing even when nobody is looking. As for me, I choose to believe certain
things never happened anyway. Its' easier to deal with things if they
never happened in the 1st place. Team Slater is the best!!

I'd race home and make crazy love to my ruggedly and sexy husband for 24 hours. I'm just saying...
