Things to come...

Spike's going to be back to good in no time! I just feel it. The surgery was a success; Joe said it himself. You all heard him. And now... I believe the cochlear implant will work. I can't wait for Spike to hear me talk to him, sing to him, hear me say I love him. And I also know deep in my heart that Zach will come home and be back to good, too. I am putting every ounce of faith I have into that... my family will be whole again in a jiffy. I can't wait for Spike to hear his daddy Zach come home!

Kendall,
I'm very happy for you and yes, Zach will be home soon. Nothing could keep him away from you and those boys and nothing will stop you from finding him! Always, Only Team Slater!

Kendall,
I know you won't know for a few weeks whether the implants worked, but I do have faith Spike will be able hear how much he is loved from all those who love him...including Zach.
Just when I think I can't love Josh any more than I already do...he goes and brings Zach's Red Wings jersey...sniff...sniff. And Erica has been a rock too...making all the arrangements for extra clothes, reserving the hospital for the Kane family, and checking on Ian. It's times like these that family makes things bearable...and Zach will be home soon.

Kendall,
While I know and love just how supportive Erica and Josh both have been, I know it's not the same without Zach...because Zach should be there. You're right...Zach has always been there for Spike even before you knew that you wanted to be a mom and Zach has fought for your son ever since.
Keep believing Zach will be home soon...he's fighting to get home to you and his children just like he fought for Spike...with all his heart.

I can't wait to hear Zach's gravelly voice, playing with Spike, telling you that he loves you so much, or singing "Molly Malone" one more time. Team Slater is missing its all-star center, and I want him back soon! You need to hold on and be strong for your boys and for Zach. I'd also like to give Uncle Josh a big fat kiss for being so supportive of you and bringing you Zach's Red Wings jersey. He's proven to be an amazing brother, and his act of incredible thoughtfulness brought tears to my eyes.

Kendall..Thank goodness Spike's surgery went well. I know how relieved you must be. That was the first hurdle. Now you can concentrate on finding Zach. Just think when you find him how happy he will be to learn that Spike's surgery was a success. Try to put all your energy into finding Zach. Don't loose faith. You will find him and he will be alive. Think positive and stay calm. Maybe you need Josh with you when you search with Aidan. You and he together can stay focused.

Kendall,
What great news to learn Spike's operation went well. I hope the implants are a continued success.
Despite the huge whole in your heart without Zach there, I love the support your family has given...that is until Jackson showed up. He still thinks of you as a daughter? You sure could of fooled me. His treatment of Erica is no better. Erica has always had a special bond with Lilly even before she and Jack were married. To not bother calling Erica when Lilly had her meltdown was spiteful.

Kendall,
I loved hearing you, once again, reaffirm what you know to be true, "Zach is alive" and I know you will find him soon. I, too, am looking forward to some long awaited, stress free family time. Mommy, Daddy Zach, Spike, and Ian all bonding together at home! I can't wait, it's my Christmas wish. After a most difficult year, Team Slater deserves it!

Kendall,
So glad that all went well with Spike's procedure. There is no doubt that Spike knows that he is very much loved, and I am hopeful in just a few weeks he'll be able to hear you say it...and Zach too.
Erica has always been a better mother figure to Lilly than Jackson has ever been a father to you. Jackson has always sided with Greenlee and his own words have stung you on more than one occasion.

Kendall,
While I am so glad that all went well with Spike...when Josh brought the Zach's Red Wings jersey...I just lost it. Very sweet moment.
Why was Jackson there again? He really was out of place because if my father treated me like he has you, I would of disowned him by now. He may not of wanted to talk about Greenlee today...but I see his feelings for you haven't changed a bit.

Kendall,
Just hold on and keep the faith. Zach will be home. Although he missed the surgery, he will be there when Spike gets the devices, and one of the first sounds Spike hears will be that glorious voice of your husband's. Hold on to the promise of this reunion and don't fall for any attempt to destroy that hope. Don't do anything rash--hold on for Zach! He is your rock and your are his.

YOu go girl. We know you love Zach and you would never do anything to jeopardize your relationship with him. That's what I love about you...you never give up on anything!!!
And anyone who may try to tell me otherwise is just simple WRONG.
Keep the faith Kendall..we love you always.

Kendall, I am so happy the surgery went well. I am happy that Erica and Josh were there for you. I don't know how you are getting through all this without Zach. I know he will be home soon. I loved Josh bringing you the Red Wings jersey.

Kendall, great news about Spike. Keep the faith and don't lose hope. Your connection to Zach will bring him home. The two of you and your sons will be together for Christmas. 2008 should be a wonderful year for the Slaters; remember "always you."
