Road Trip

Not that what Babe, Greenlee and I are doing is exactly a road trip - but we are on the road and taking a trip to NYC. I have my fingers and toes crossed, and I'm pretty sure I prayed to a saint or two to guarantee this concept launch will be a huge hit. But today - Greeenlee and I were so simpatico... It felt like a vacation even though it is totally this intense business trip. But it got me thinking - have any of you out there ever taken a road trip with the gals? What was your best all girl getaway?

Kendall,
Not a gal road trip...but my husband and I were in the process of moving from Texas back to Minnesota. Starting in Houston we took a month off and just drove, camping along the way. We made our way to Yellowstone, took in the Grand Canyon, spent time in Las Vegas, Vancouver, the Black Hills, and finally back to Minneapolis. When we got back to reality, it was back to school and work, but the trip was great. I have a feeling your trip will be memorable as well...just not in the same way.

An all gals trip can be a lot of fun. My favorite times are when a group of us fly in from all over the country to see our favorite guy, and just hang out together all weekend. We have a ball, and all get a little teary-eyed when it's time to go our seperate ways until the next time. But then we start looking forward to the next time, so it's all good.
I just wish your road trip was with Babe and Annie instead of Greenlee. I know you think you and Greenlee are great, but I still don't trust her.

Kendall,
At the age of 27 my husband decided to go back to college full time and pursue another career so I worked as a secretary to help support us.
After three years of being a "poor college student" while not a trip with gal pals, we did manage to save enough to go to Hawaii. Seeing Pearl Harbor was a really humbling experience, and I would recommend anyone visiting to go see it.
BTW deep down whether you are still a b**ch or not, you've always been a very lovable one, unlike another certain cosmetics queen.

Kendall,
I don't get to take many trips these days...but I do live vicariously through the lovely women at a message board dedicated to a certain lovely couple in Pine Valley. Several of them have been lucky enough to travel to New York and meet several of the actors on AMC. Thankfully, they usually are very kind in recapping those wonderful adventures. Can't wait to hear all about Super Soap Weekend!

Mine? Going to Myrt. Bch.
But, Kendall, I sure hope you will be careful! You've got some mighty precious cargo onboard. I'd feel much better if Zach were with you. I hope it turns out like you want.

I"ve never had an all-girl road trip, but I would love to someday......Maybe a day of shopping at the Mall of America, a night of bar hopping.......sounds like a plan to me!

Oh, road trip with the girls! Most fun ever, hands down. This past February, 4 of us drove to Dallas, went shopping, clubbing, the works. No husbands, no nothing. Loved every minute of it!

A group of us girls from work thought it would be fun to go camping. When went to put up the tent we only had the tent and no poles. Luckily we lived only an hour from my Aunt's house. We borrowed her tent and the rest of the trip was a blast.

My mother and sisters (4) all get together every year and go somewhere. No spouses or kids are allowed to come. One sister lives in Chicago and flies to Florida where the rest of us live. Our best trip was to Vero Beach where we played Tennis and bridge, went shopping at the outlet mall and beach boutiques and ate at really nice restuarants on the beach. We always had cocktails on the beach. We have been doing this for 5 years and we plan on having many more.

Kendall,
I hope everything goes ok for you and your baby. Try and take it easy. Always Know that Zach will always do everything in his power to get to you as soon as he can. He is one great guy! I would also not trust Greenlee as far as I could throw her. She will take a mile if you give her a yard. Watch out! keep your chin up!

Have fun, but watch out. I think Greenlee is going to steal your baby!

Kendall
The only road trip I've ever gotten was going to Ohio. It was a painful one to tell you the truth. Wish I had a good one though.

Road trip - Now I haven't had a BF getaway in about 20 odd years. In my early twenties my parents as a birthday gift got me a loft penthouse @ the Hyannis Regency in Hyannis.
It was awesome. We had so much fun driving down 2 cars, following each other, when we got their we had ourselves a weekend full of the fondest memories. The Cape was a very special place for us. It was all about our youth, hanging out together talking about the guys, going to the dance clubs, Puffebellies, Compass Lounge, we had the best times. Looking back god it was fun! That weekend was about a group of great friends spending time.
Embracing the moments. We are all still the best of friends today. Be nice to have that moment again.
A Toast To Good Friends & fond memories.
